A: Here at Little Sea View we believe in cutting out the middle man and giving our best rates to those who book directly. A. A deposit of 25% of the total price is payable upon booking and the balance is then due 28 days before the start of your stay. If your booking is made fewer than 28 days before the start of your holiday, the full price is payable at the time of booking.
A. Check-in is from 4.00pm, and you are required to vacate by 11.00am on the morning of your departure. Early check-ins / late check-outs can be available upon request.
At Little Sea View we want you to relax and for that reason we supply a generous amount of washing-up and cleaning equipment, some kitchen cupboard essentials and toilet rolls (as no-one wants to have to dash to the shops for toilet roll when they first arrive!)
Yes we certainly do! As a family we love spending time on Duporth beach and many hours have been spent there over the years. You are welcome to use the equipment provided including buckets & spades or nets for the rock pools.
For the older adventurers we have a selection of water sports equipment including paddle boards and kayaks. We thoroughly recommend visiting www.RNLI.org for information on how to stay safe in the water.
Duporth Beach is for the sole use of residents of Duporth and is controlled by gated access. This means that it’s a peaceful beach away from the crowds.
Yes. Little Sea View is equipped with a “Type 2” 7kw EV charger. This is available to our guests at a cost of £10 per day (five hours) between the hours of 01:00 and 06:00 (BST) – 00:00-05:00 (GMT).
A. Little Sea View is a two-storey house with stairs so please contact us directly to discuss any concerns that you may have.
Like many parts of Cornwall, Duporth is situated on a hill down to the sea. The path that leads to the beach is quite steep in places but is mostly tarmacked and there are 50 steps down to sea level. At the entrance to the beach there is an area where you can leave any mobility equipment.
A more accessible beach can be found right next door at Charlestown Harbour where there is step free access.
A. Yes, we welcome guests to Little Sea View 365 days a year. Our busiest times are during school holidays and during the summer and these dates tend to sell out quite quickly and in advance, but you can check our availability here.
Cornwall is gorgeous at any time, and each season brings its own surprises, so Little Sea View is available to help you create memories all year round.
A. The pretty World Heritage village of Charlestown is situated around a 10-minute walk from Little Sea View where you’ll find a number of pubs and restaurants. See our Local Area page for more information and offers.
A. There are two supermarkets a few minutes drive away from Little Sea View: Tesco just off Holmbush Road, and Asda on Cromwell Road.
A. There is a mainline railway station around two miles away in St Austell. Duporth is served by a local bus route. Newquay Airport is 25 miles away.
A. Little Sea View has one off street parking space next to our garage. There are also plenty of places to park in the road outside.
A. Cornwall is beautiful whatever the season. Whenever you decide visit you can be sure of a relaxing and restful holiday.
A. Pets are definitely allowed, and as Little Sea View is situated so close to the South West Coast Path and surrounding countryside, there are plenty of walks for you and your pets to enjoy.
Duporth beach is dog friendly, but owners are requested to keep their pets in sight and not let them of their leads until you reach the beach.
As we incur extra cleaning costs following a pet staying at Little Sea View, we do ask for a £25 per pet supplement to contribute towards this.
A. Yes, bed linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. Feel free to use the washing machine provided.
A. Yes. Fibre broadband is available throughout Little Sea View and is included in the cost of your booking.
A. Cornwall is notoriously patchy when it comes to mobile signal. Although most mobile providers work in and around Little Sea View, you’ll find very little signal as you walk down towards the beach.
A. Yes, all utilities including gas, electricity and water are included.
