The picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey is just a 15-minute drive from Little Sea View. People travel from hundreds of miles to visit this historic harbour with its landmark lighthouse, but staying here puts it right on your doorstep.
Mevagissey harbour has a history going back 250 years, yet it remains an active port with around 60 fishing vessels bringing in the daily catch – much of which is destined the excellent local seafood restaurants.
You can spend hours just wandering around soaking up the atmosphere, or maybe take in one of the tourist fishing trips. There is also a regular summer passenger ferry to Fowey.
For the more active visitor, Mevagissey is one of the highlights on the South West Coast Path.

On longer summer days, you can walk from Duporth to Mevagissey taking in the spectacular sea views, enjoy lunch in one of the gorgeous harbourside eateries, and then walk it off on the return journey!
Each year at the end of June, Mevagissey celebrates Feast Week, a week of family fun, music, and floral dances through the streets.
The Heligan estate is located on the steep slopes above Mevagissey and is now best known for the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a magnificent recently-restored Victorian garden.
Little Sea View puts you in the enviable position of enjoying all this, right on your doorstep
